« It was a lovely property very close to the beach and Paignton 10 minute walk into centre. It was on a busy road which was a bit noisy at night but with the windows closed it was fine. We were provided with a fan which kept us really cool. I would recommend this place. I think it’s really nice for a breakaway owners were really helpful nice breakfast all you could ask for🙂 a big smile »

« Friendly staff. »

« The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain. »

« Lovely rooms, generous staff and excellent location »

« Nice property in a great location. The beech and pubs are only a few minutes walk away. Needs a bit of TLC, one kitchen cupboard has come away from its adjacent unit, freezer drawers broken handles and both bathroom hand towel and toilet roll holders are loose. The kitchen could be better equipped, e.g. needs some digital scales, some bowels better for cereal, new saucepans and a sieve. Only one fan was provided, in a heatwave this wasn't enough - I did contact the letting agency, but had no...

« Always a warm welcome at the Clifton by Claire and Steve. »

« We had a wonderful stay in Room 8 (the Shark Room), which was absolutely lovely. The owner is incredibly friendly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the seafront and surrounded by plenty of great pubs and cafes. »

« Upon arrival there was hundreds of ants in the property, on the carpet, kitchen food prep areas, beds etc. Didn't speak to the owner but after 2 1/2 hours we were found new accommodation. »
