« I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). »

« Mani was an excellent host, very professional and passionate about the property. We stay in the annex rooms as visit a wedding near by. Room was modern, clean and beds very comfortable. Felt very spoilt as such a personal feel to the venue. Would defiantly return if going back to the area. « This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton. »

« A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. »

« What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. « Food was good, I had one of my favourite meals ham, eggs and chips 😋. Cooked Breakfast, toast, orange juice and cereal available. Room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, I was overlooking the main road but it got really quiet around 11,pm and I slept like a log. Would recommend, good for the price. »

« Lovely B&B the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and free parking, wi-fi and 10 mins drive to Hereford. The host Lorraine was brilliant and allowed early check in too, as we arrived early. Overall a great experience. Thanks »
