Nice Property Poor Management
The house itself is good and location is great. Dealing with Vacasa is frustrating. First, there is currently construction going on in the front yard building a new main residence. They should inform you of this before you book and post actual pictures of the current situation. They added a small note in the check-in instructions sent the day of arrival. There were construction trailers parked in front so we weren’t able to park at the property. The drives on either side belong to other homes so we were not allowed to park there and had to park at resort entrance. We had to carry our suitcases through mud /sand to get to the front door. There was heavy equipment operating right outside our window each morning at 7am which made relaxing on the balcony in the mornings impossible. When we arrived there was trash from the previous renters laying all over the ground to the side of the front steps, dirty towels hanging from the balcony and laying by the door. Broken glass at the bottom of the steps. We contacted Vacasa by text, phone many times and left messages with the operator, and never got a call back. The texted back one time saying they were looking into it.
They advertise the unit has washer and dryer but it was located in the garage underneath with no access. There was no beach service chairs like we normally receive at Carillon.
On a positive note the location is great and right across from the beach walkover. The rental is very small but nice.
