Direct Beach front-Pet Friendly-Immaculate, 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Paradise

Beautifully furnished, immaculately kept and recently redecorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath, ocean front beach home welcomes everyone along with their furry family members to a relaxing, fun-filled vacation on the Forgotten Coast at Alligator Point. MoonShadow has a fully equipped kitchen with all the pots/pans and tools you'll need to prepare that gourmet meal. There are plenty of towels, beach towels and even doggy towels for everyone. All the bedrooms and livingroom have huge flatscreen tv's with cable. The comfy sunporch features a daybed that opens into 2 twin beds and the huge comfy couch will accommodate someone comfortably. The outside of the house offers plenty of seating areas on both upper and lower decks. The upper deck features a firetable for those evenings of wine and stargazing while the lower deck has a gas bbq, dining table, couch and lounge chairs including an outside shower and fish sink. Swim or work on your tan at the beach which is just a couple of steps down our walkway to the beach. Take a long walk on our white sand beach where most times you have the beach to yourself and our local dolphins will swim next to you while you walk. Catch your own dinner and cook it yourself on the BBQ or treat yourself and enjoy one of our local seafood restaurants.
Stay a week or two and forget all about your problems, rekindle that romance, connect again to the kids and rejuvenate your soul by the Gulf of Mexico. Spend some time at MoonShadow and leave renewed.

Lovely Week at Moon Shadow

Moon Shadow is gorgeous, clean, very well stocked, and has responsive, caring owners and management. The beach access and views of the Gulf are amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our week there with our family and doggies, and we highly recommend.

Far exceeded our expectations!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this property. Perfect for families with pets. The host went above a beyond anything we expected (or have experienced) at other properties. The home is unbelievably well equipped and ready for anything we needed. We’ve never booked the same property twice, but we’re already planning to rebook this property for the upcoming summer!

Spacious and well-appointed

Our family group of six adults stayed over a holiday weekend. Multiple sitting areas inside and out provided room for togetherness and for solitude. It's ideal fo people who like to cook -- the kitchen had everything! We liked the split floor plan, with the master bedroom at one end of the house and the other bedrooms at the opposite end. The outdoor was just as thoughtfully equipped as the inside, and our host made us feel very welcome.

Best Place Ever!

I have been using VRBO for 15-plus years and have stayed in many houses, usually twice a year. This beach house is by far the best place for my family! The graciousness and communication with the host is absolutely superior! The location is perfect and right on the beach. The amenities are perfect! If you love to be in a private and quiet place away from crowds and loud noises, this is the place for you! The house on the beach with a lovely boardwalk right out to the beach! The outdoor area is amazing! We love Alligator Point and will definitely be coming back for years to come!

Beyond Expectations!

I’ve looked forward to this trip for about a year. Arriving at the house I was blown away at the attention to detail by the amenities, decor and special touches made to make me and my family feel welcome. We love the area and have come for years. I rent homes several times a year and this one by far has been the best for me and my family so much so we’ve reserved it again for next year. The home is everything and more in the description. The master features a bathroom that is accommodating to some that might have minor mobility issues with bars in the shower. The downstairs shower was amazing and helped with the number of folks we had it served as an extra shower. Additionally my family includes our furbabies and we were allowed to have them all with us. The home is so great with a fenced yard for them to play as you hang out in the amazing downstairs outside area! Lastly the owner is a woman that exemplifies honesty and integrity. I didn’t realize I reserved the house for an extra night (a Sunday) and thought I’d reserved Saturday to Saturday. When she brought it to my attention after letting them know we’d left the home, she immediately said she’d refund me the night. This she did not have to do as it was my mistake but we’d already left and were several hours away. She did refund me and I was so grateful! She is definitely and honest and wonderful host! I’d recommend her and this home to anyone looking for a nice family getaway!

Moonshadow was a wonderful beach property.

The week my family and I spent in Moonshadow was all pleasure. The secluded beach was wonderful and the host provided lots of beach toys to make sure we enjoyed every second of it. But the house was the star of our vacation. Completely as described. Super clean. Everything in the house was high quality and in perfect condition. Plus the host includes so many extras that we’ve never encounter in a vacation rental before. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful house with us.

Property was one of the cleanest and comfy beach houses we have ever rented. We met the owners upon arrival. You can tell they really care and take pride in making your stay perfect. ** everything you could need was provided and in great condition. You have to see for yourself. ** outdoor showers amazing, one closer to the sand and another under the outside area with cool jets. Not your average outdoor shower! ** Very comfortable beds. ** Beach was so nice , we almost had to ourselves most of the time.

Epic spot!

This house was exactly what we were looking for - a quiet, beachfront house where we could go to sleep listening to the waves. But it went beyond that. The hosts literally thought of everything. The place is so well designed and super comfortable - from the couches to the beds, and all the fun features (outdoor shower, tiki bar, multiple seating areas). It's also extremely dog friendly. The one thing to note about the general area is that it is somewhat remote and very quiet. For us, that was a good thing. If you're someone who's into shopping, dining and night life, it's not going to be a good fit. We drove 15 hours each way to get to this spot and it was worth every aching body part :). I'd go back again in a heartbeat. Such a special spot.

Wonderful place and perfect for family getaway!!!

Moonshadow is a wonderful place and a perfect family getaway. Place was immaculate and plenty of space for everything to have their space and fun activity and at the end of the day a place for the family to have dinner together. Morning walks on the beach was peaceful and amazing sunset views. Very happy with the place and the hosts as well as the property manager were wonderful. Will return again.

Immaculate and Comfortable Beach House

The beach house at Alligator Point was one of the nicest VRBO places we have stayed. The house was perfectly clean and maintained, was well "kitted out" with anything you might need for cooking or relaxing, and is in a fabulous location. Communication from the host and manager was excellent. Overall, a great property in a great place.
