Unexpected charges. I feel deceived!

The condo was nice and roomy and clean when we arrived. However, there were only partial rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extras to replace them. I have never stayed in a condo or hotel where we had to go to the store to buy our own toilet paper! There were nice bath towels but no kitchen towels or dish cloths. There was a dishwasher but no detergent. There were no extra garbage bags and we quickly filled up the one that was there. There were too many things that we had to go to the store to buy that we always expect to be in a hotel or condo. The fridge leaked and there was an ant problem but it looked like there were ant traps set to try to take care of that problem. I booked through Hotels.com by phone and the fellow I talked to said the booking was to be prepaid and non-refundable. I paid by credit card and he said the balance owed was zero. However, when the emailed receipt came, at the bottom it said that the condo would require $70 and $95 for cleaning. I was not told that when I was booking the non-refundable place. We had no choice but to pay the extra $165, which made the 3 day stay quite expensive. I would have made a different reservation if I had been told about the extra fees before I booked. I felt this was deceitful. I think $95 is a huge cleaning fee and I don't even know what the $70 was for. The condo was clean and quite comfortable but missing too many things. I wouldn't stay there again.

A very nice property in an attractive location on a golf course and country club. There are numerous retail locations nearby for food and clothing.

The property was in good condition, clean, in a very nice area. The property did have a few issues like the kitchen faucet needs to be replaced, a few bugs inside the home, no pool heater or cleaning pump. Other than these small items, the house was very adequate for our needs

The private pool was awesome! This property is not as close to the major theme parks (15-20 miles away) as I would have liked. However, the quietness of the neighborhood, the pool and a gated community make up for the longer drive!

Todo estuvo bien aceptable pero la casa que me dieron bastante retirada del área que vi en el ofrecimiento cuando hice la reservación , informe y me dijeron que no tenían mas opciones demasiado tráfico en el area solo una vía de absceso, no fue lo que se me ofreció distante de los lugares de mi interés por distancia y tráfico , colchones en regular estado hacen mucho ruido y demasiado blandos

Haines City is a little further away than we would have liked and an easier way to heat the pool would have been nice. Short of that, the house was nice, easy to find, and clean

A nice, spacious, well-stocked house with pool and hot tub,or the same price, or less, than the average hotel. Fully stocked kitchen, so we were able to cook most of our meals.

Pros - It was nice to have a house for the family. The house we had was nice, clean, private pool, gated, close to a Wal-Mart for easy shopping and a tv in all rooms. Cons - I was guaranteed a house with in 15 miles of Disney and we were 21 miles out. Not a big deal if I didn't have young kids and that the fact it was guaranteed to be 15 miles and no further. Also, the house we stayed at would not let you turn down the A/C past 75 degrees and had a ceiling fan in the master bedroom and living room only. It made for hot sleeping.

We had a late check in and the door code with address was e-mailed to us. The house was very dirty. (hair in the towels, dirty silverware, old stained pillows, inside kitchen cabinets and drawers were filthy) Pool was to cold to swim in so we called to have it heated at a minimum of 7 days and $300 immediate charge to my credit card. They said it would take up to 24 hours to heat so we were willing to wait. 24 hours later the lady that takes care of the property stopped by unannounced, scared the crap out of me while I was in the backyard. I asked her about the pool heat and she looked at me with a confused look as to why no one had come to turn the heat on.The next day we drove to the welcome center to find out what happened. (20 min.) Would rather had been doing my own thing on my own vacation instead of skirting around trying to find out what happened to the pool heat we were promised and paid for. Kevin at the welcome center was less that welcoming to say the least. He told us that he would have to stop by the property were staying at and check the pool temp for himself before he could give us our refund. Kevin also lied about where to purchase theme park tickets. He said I would purchase them at the theme park. Come to find out we could've gotten them from a discount stand for 1/2 the price. After the vacation was done I have FINALLY received my refunds for the pool and a $100 credit for the home rental since it was so dirty. NEVER again will I stay with Emerald America

The home was well-furnished, clean and quite lovely. The rooms were spacious. The garage was equipped with a pool table, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, the house exceeded my expectations.

My daughter enjoyed the foosball table in the garage, however, i was unavle to switch the board to the pool table. Also, the grill was locked up so I was unable to bar-b-que. There were roaches in the garage, the knives were dirty and the there was only one roll of toilet paper. The house was nice and big enough for the two of us, my daughter an myself, but there was not cable in any of the rooms besides the main living room and that t.v. was difficult to function due to the remotes not working properly, my pillows in the master bed stunk like sweat, the stove went out on the second day and was not fixed. Also, I had questions about the hot tub I thought was included but had no reply on it. Last but not least, after the first day of arrival I'm sure someone went into the house for whatever reason without notifying me and the thermostat never made it above 63 which made the time spent indoors very cold and unpleasing. Overall, I will not be using this property again.

The property was not in Kisssimee, ,.this house waa far away in another town called claremont, like 30 minutes way from Kisssimee. The house was big, clean, pretty, well dotated, very comfortable. I dont complain for the house, i just thought it was in kissimmee, on the contrary, it was very far and secluded area. Next time please inform rifght location of the property

HORRIBLE LOCATION AND HIDDEN FEES!!!

If you are looking for a place to stay and enjoy the different parks of Disney, do not pick this hotel. The home that was assigned to us was approximately 45 mins away from the parks and have to deal with heavy traffic. The home was located far south and requires you to take the I-4 which is completely ridiculous with traffic. The agency has extremely high fees that are hidden deep in the details so look for those extra charges. Also, you are responsible for putting out and bringing the trash bins in by a specific time which are during the hours you would spend at Disney. If you don't you will be charged a crazy fine. If you want a weekend away to just hang out on the couch and watch TV without visiting the parks with the family....this is the spot for you. They also don't provide any items so you will need to head up to Walmart to buy trash bags and etc.

House was located in Emerald Island Resort which was a very pretty resort close to Disney parks. Resort was safe and gated with a heated pool and hot tub. The house was clean, cute and had everything we needed. Great customer service. Good value.
