« Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect. »

« The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Rooms were well-appointed with fabulous bathroom and quality toiletries. Tea pigs tea and Tan y Castell Welshcakes were a cut above, as well as Ty Nant bottled water. The mattress and pillows were lovely quality. Rooms had minimalist furniture creating uncluttered calming space. The full Welsh breakfast was impressive, cooked to order. Unlimited juices, cereal and toast. Friendly, efficient staff. « What an amazing place and helpful friendly people. I was going to go out after arriving and freshening up but it was so lovely I stayed in. The welcome was warm, friendly and informative. The room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The weather was windy and raining in the evening but I slept like a baby without anything disturbing me. And now to the best bit, breakfast. I do travel a lot so I do not say this lightly. Best breakfast ever. Tasty bacon and sausage , clearly excellent...
