Luxurious Penthouse With Direct Ocean View!

Romar Tower is a prestigious complex with an unobstructed direct view of the beautiful white beach. The most outstanding feature of this luxurious penthouse unit is the large sitting area in the master bedroom which serves as a second living area with a sofa, recliner and sliding door opening to the balcony. The unit was recently remodeled and professionally decorated with all granite counter tops, all new cabinetry, new lighting/plumbing fixtures, new draperies, new glass in all doors and windows, paint, and most of the furniture. It sleeps 6 with a king bed in the master, a queen in the guest bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. You will find a gourmet kitchen equipped with everything you will need and ample seating for meals at the table for six and a breakfast bar. Other features include wet bar, 3 flat screen TV'S, wifi, stacked laundry, walk-in closet, unique foot rinse faucet, pantry and spacious balcony.

The low density, 9 floor complex, (35 units) with only four units on each floor and covered loading area, make this complex one of the most convenient places on the beach. Other amenities include: seasonal security guarded entry, bar-b-que grilling area, large lighted gazebo, outdoor pool (beach side) with spacious sunning areas, short boardwalk to the beach, and convenient garbage disposal near your door.

Romar Tower is located in the heart of Orange Beach near everything including shopping, restaurants, entertainment, nature trails, golf courses, marinas, adventure activities and the world famous Florabama. Pensacola, Fl, home of the Naval Air Museum and the Blue Angels is 30 minutes drive east. Mobile Bay where the USS Alabama is docked is 1 hour to the west. Casinos of Biloxi, MS are 2 hours west.

We had the best hosts!! This unit was amazing and our stay was very pleasant. Only blemish was elevator was out for a day and we were sort of stranded for a bit. But it was due to physical abilities on our part. The sitting area in master bedroom had the most amazing view.

Dangerous entrance into parking lot. Matress in master bedroom is worn out. The veiw is perfect. We had a very nice stay but the traffic light and turning lane block the entrace to the property. A truck nearly hit us head-on because we needed to get in (left turn) and they needed to turn across the street(left turn)! BAM!

Rented many VRBO units this one had the least amount of items by far. Renter beware, you will have to purchase: toilet paper, bathroom hand soap, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, dish scouring sponges, frying pans (if you want to cook), laundry soap, hangers, salt & pepper, sugar, and beach towels.Microwave looked like something blew up in there and was literally melted (and badly rusted) on the inside. Garbage disposal didn’t work as well as manual can opener.There were 2 tiny “Motel 8” bar soaps for 3 sinks; although only 1 soap dish. Only 2 hand towels for 8 days of stay (had to use the 1 extra hand towel as a dish towel). Only 1 kitchen dish towel; 1 kitchen washcloth; no scouring sponges to wash dishes. No items to store food in such as containers, plastic wrap, tinfoil. No spices (S&P), sugar. One dishwasher pod & 1 garbage bag for 8 days of stay. Only 4 hangers in each of the two closets. All of the teflon frying pans were very, very old, bent, extremely scratched and disgusting. Called the owner on the way home and he explained that it was the “starter package”. Well if VRBO give owners a minimum guideline, they sure follow it. This unit is described as a “Luxurious Penthouse”. Definition of Luxurious Penthouse is: creating a unique living experience that transcends the ordinary, premium lifestyle amenities, exclusivity, elegance. THIS UNIT IS NOT THAT !!!! It is simply a unit on the top floor. Comfortable bed & good shower.

This condo was perfect! So close to restaurants and stores. Beach and pool was not crowded. Beds were comfy! We had plenty of room and I really enjoyed the sitting area in the master bedroom. The host communicated quickly when I had questions. Kitchen had just what we needed to cook a few meals in since it’s so expensive to eat out now. Carmelo’s Italian restaurant was the best! Such a great time. Oh and it was very clean and neat. Overall great stay!

We loved staying at Romar Towers! It is a small condo complex so we didn't have to deal with crowded elevators or loud pool. Beach access is so easy. Our unit was clean and comfortable with a gorgeous front ocean view! I woke up one morning to a beautiful rainbow over the water and dolphins jumping in the waves!! Updates

This property needs several updates. The bed in the master is in need of new box spring and mattress. Very uncomfortable. Micro wave needs to be replaced/bare metal exposed on the inside of the door. Garbage disposal didn’t work, found this out because of the odor coming from it. We never put food in it but there was food left in it from previous people. Overall our experience was good, just could have enjoyed it more. Cleaning services could do a much better job in the bathrooms as well.

Best beach vacation!

This place has everything you need in a vacation rental. We loved the location, the small size of the complex & proximity to the beach! Our family will try to rent this again in coming years!! The only negative is the huge complex next door with a lot of noisy kids & families in the water park.
