Casa Lucia - Oppido Mamertina

Casa Lucia is a 150-square-meter house located in Oppido Mamertina, a beautiful town of about 5,000 residents in the province of Reggio Calabria, featuring restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and traditional local establishments.

It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds, as well as a comfortable sofa bed in the living room, allowing it to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. This capacity makes the house ideal for both families and groups of friends. The fully functional kitchen and two bathrooms—one of which is en suite with the master bedroom—make your stay even more comfortable.


When staying at Casa Lucia, you’ll enjoy a unique combination: you’ll be just 15 kilometers from the stunning Costa Viola, home to the famous “Scoglio dell’Ulivo” and many other beautiful, popular beaches, and 15 km from the stunning Aspromonte National Park, home to the famous “Passo del Mercante”—a guided trail renowned and visited by people from all over the world.

You can also visit the majestic cathedral of Oppido Mamertina and the archaeological ruins of the ancient Oppidum, a medieval town where a beautiful castle from the Aragonese period still stands today.

Guests at “Casa Lucia” can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, perfect for starting the day with energy before setting out to explore the surrounding area. In addition, pets are welcome, allowing the whole family to enjoy their vacation without leaving anyone at home.

Just a short walk from Casa Lucia is a car rental office. Just 20 meters away, you’ll find a café and pastry shop, a restaurant, and pizzeria run by the Caratozzolo brothers, where you can savor local delicacies and the famous Mamertina cake—made with local extra virgin olive oil—a delicious and unique dessert exported worldwide and awarded at the 2015 Milan Expo.

Thanks to its location, Casa Lucia can also serve as a base for visiting the nearby towns of Tropea, just 40 km away, Scilla, 35 km away, Reggio Calabria, 60 km away, and finally Sicily, about 40 km away.
