'We stayed here in October 2025 for four nights. This boutique hotel shares a building with a small coffee shop and bakery, where you can conveniently charge items directly to your room. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants and tour operators. The staff was friendly and helpful—especially Carrol, who checked us in. 'The accomodation was perfectly taken care of; surroundings at the hotel as well. The pool was nice, but is in the afternoon in the shadow, and has too little sunbeds to provide a bed for all hotel guests. The restaurant was good. '

'Het is een mooi resort in een fantastische omgeving. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het enige nadeel van dit resort is dat het iets verder van het centrum vandaan ligt. Het hotel is een goede uitvalsbasis om de toeristische atracties in de omgeving te kunnen doen.'

'Zeker een aanrader! In het midden van de natuur waar je ook makkelijk kan hiken op de trails. Het personeel is ook super vriendelijk en zal je helpen met alles wat nodig is. Er is een natuurlijke creek waar je in kan zwemmen en in het goede seizoen is het water mooi blauw.'

'We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. We checked in late and I went to go run in to give our information, our server Robby insured that he needed to greet us properly and asked all our guests to come in for a welcome drink which we thoroughly enjoyed, the kitchen was also waiting on to offer us dinner before they went home for the evening. 'I can’t say enough about this hotel. The service was exceptional. The facilities were too notch while still staying true to the local surroundings. The food was fresh and exceptional. The staff was willing to assist in any request or need. Couldn’t recommend it more it was pure bliss'

'Erg vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Hotel ligt afgelegen, maar personeel bracht en haalde ons op van de verzamelplaats (Benge’s Store) van onze ATM-tour, georganiseerd door MayaWalks. De erg ruime royal suite was geweldig mooi, er zijn handdoeken voor bij het zwembad. De maaltijden die we hebben genuttigd in het hotel waren allen erg lekker. Een echte aanrader!'

'Echt een toppertje! Een schitterende locatie, kleinschalig, heel vriendelijk En enthousiast personeel dat op een leuke manier persoonlijk is. Aanraders zijn het kayakken en de nighthike. En natuurlijk het eten, het is allemaal super lekker!'

'The hotel grounds are very beautiful. The walkways and bridges and trails are all very charming. The staff was very attentive. Dinner was good and the massages were wonderful. I would highly recommend. The only complaint is there is not air conditioning and it was quite hot'

'I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize. If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it! I would recommend this...
