« It’s impossible to find fault with our stay at Mutara Camp. Our party of three had a car accident on the way, and Dido and Lilomo drove out at night to Rumuruti to pick two of us up - an hour each way on bad roads. The chef had stayed up to cook us a hot meal when we arrived after 11pm, which was very welcome. « This is an excellent and reasonably priced place to visit, very peaceful and quiet. The landscape is serene which I could view from my own private deck with fresh coffee throughout the day. Paul the manager was extremely helpful in making arrangements for a game drive and a couple of great cultural experiences with the local tribe, along with nightly camp fire and music from a Kenyan Nyatiti I believe.
