'I not only loved the location of this hotel but its boutique style environment. We were there just before Christmas and the lounges were decorated with Christmas decorations the fireplace going all day and night. The room was beautifully designed and quaint. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. I would definitely return to this hotel and highly recommended.'

'No complaints, nice and spacious room, the cleaning service seems a bit overbooked, as day 1 both of my glasses in the bathroom were filthy (lipstick stains, eww!), but this was resolved immediately when i asked. Club level has a separate room for breakfast in the morning and snacks in the evening, both were great. The elevator to the club level however is unbelievably slow.'

'Spacious accomodation for our family of 5. We booked one of the bigger units for a quick 2 night stay. Everything was great - unit was clean and had everything we needed to make ourselves breakfast. Laundry on site was helpful also. The tvs in the units are a bit dated and don’t allow for log in to streaming services which disappointed the teenagers but they survived … overall a great stay '

Perkins Cove, Ogunquit, Maine I visited in the fall and there was very little traffic to get to Perkins Cove. During the summer, it could take hours to get from Route 1 to the Cove. Parking is limited, so park closer to Route 1 and walk the couple of minutes. You'll pass stores and restaurants along the way. At the Cove, beside more little shops and restaurants (try fried clams or a Maine Lobster), there is a manually operated footbridge that allows the sailboats and lobster boats in/out of Perkins Cove. If your lucky, you can give the Harbormaster a hand as he performs this task.
