Chalets in Oberwald

'Fantastic chalet in the hills looking down onto Grindelwald and up into the mountains. We are an American family of six (kids ages 9 to 16) and traveled in July. The host was excellent at communicating in advance, helping us find appropriate activities and restaurant recommendations, he even found a French song on YouTube for us that we heard played on our travels. My family of 8 stayed here for a nearby wedding, and it was very comfortable and spacious. The two refrigerators was great for our large family, and the ping pong table provided hours of fun for us. 'The apartment studio has everything you need for your stay and comfort and it is very clean. Communication with the host Andreas was very easy and he was very responsive to any questions. The view from the balcony of the Eiger is breathtaking, we couldn't get enough of it. You can walk down to the center of Grindelwald in about 15 minutes from the apartment. It's a steep walk back to the apartment but there is a bus that will take you to Terassenweg that will stop in front of the Chalet. We...

'Checking was very easy. The house is big with multiple king beds, game area, large kitchen and table. Location in Grindelwald is an easy walk to downtown restaurants and hikes. I would stay here again. '

'Corrine was a wonderful host, the location was perfect. The rooms were very clean, the kitchen was a big help as Switzerland is very expensive. We had a problem with the hot water for the first 2 nights.Would definitely stay there again.'
