'Hotel location is great. Rooms are ok. Restaurant food less than ok. The bar is good'

'Everything was clean and comfortable. The beach that was walking distance was quite nice to hang out at. Our hosts were attentive and responsive. The area was quiet, scenic and a easy drive to restaurants and other beaches.'

'Perfect location '

'stayed 11 days Feb '26. This is a condo complex. Upon arrival the complex appears dated/tired and the grass was tall. A crew did show to get the landscaping back into shape. Laundry building is adequate, everything worked, needs paint. The pool water was clean and usable. The stairs,...

'Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,...

'All good'

'Terrible conditions all over the place. Spider nets , roachs, dogs. Worst experience I ever had in my life'

'We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!'
