'Probably going to be hard to beat for the price. We just needed a place to sleep for the night. It was clean and had been updated inside the room. The hotel is what I would call a "retro" style. If you are expecting the modern multi level inside hotel, its not that. "This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
