'The owners keep this property very clean and well maintained. We stayed only one night, but if our travels bring us back to the north shore of Lake Superior we would stay again and have already recommended it to family and friends. Because the property is a 15 minute drive east of the town of Terrace Bay, it would be great if guests had access to a community barbecue or grilling area. 'Staff was friendly and helpful'

'The property was very clean, it was well located, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I appreciated the orange juice that was available at all times. The place exceeded my expectations.'

'Everything was clean, no issues. What I missed and was surprised not to have on the door to the room was a security chain or door guard. This especially so since the door to the room leads to the outside of the hotel and not to a hotel hallway. The hotel also uses keys which can be copied rather than the new systems which use codes. 'Very quiet and nice area to bbq'

'We booked the Executive Queen Suite. Room was very clean. Loved having the bedroom separate from the living room. Air conditioner units in both rooms! You can tell the hotel is actively upgrading their rooms/bathrooms which is great. We also enjoyed have a Lake view! Breakfast in the restaurant was awesome! Staff were great - welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would stay again!'

'Fully functioning suit, clean, comfortable beds, quiet and easy access to the building. We enjoyed our stay here, and we'll definitely be back whenever we are in Thunder Bay.'

'Absolutely wonderful location, and if you like rustic charm, this place hits well. Great view of Nipigon Bay. Check-in was easy, staff are very pleasant and gracious. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean, well stocked and updated. However; conveniences are limited at best. Don't expect a TV, phone, radio, mini fridge, coffee maker, nor good lighting.
