'Everything was clean, no issues. What I missed and was surprised not to have on the door to the room was a security chain or door guard. This especially so since the door to the room leads to the outside of the hotel and not to a hotel hallway. The hotel also uses keys which can be copied rather than the new systems which use codes. 'This is a very cool and large 1930s inn with a very colorful history. It appeared that there were only two people working there while we were staying there, and they were working VERY hard to provide the best experience. The inn itself is pretty funky, but in a good way - lots of interesting and fun midcentury details to check out while exploring the premises. 'We are in our 70's and this was nicest motel we have ever stayed in. The rooms were beautifully decorated with all the amenities you would want. The owners went over and above in providing a lovely outdoor space with a covered sitting area and bbq. One of the units was dedicated to providing additional Nespresso coffee and teas, a microwave and toaster and ice for drinks. I would give this a 10+.'

'Room was fantastic! Had a very rustic feel. Bed was amazing, so comfortable and had a super thick duvet. Felt like staying a a favorite Aunts for the night. Such a nice change from the cookie cutter motel rooms. Bbq's available for use on site. Adirondack style chairs to sit and watch the stars in the evening. This place ranked number 1 on our week long motorcycle trip. Thank you.'
