Divi Phoenix Towers

You will enjoy this beautiful unit on the week ending on July 3rd. This tower unit has a beautiful view of the ocean, beach and the multicolored lighted night view of the resort. From the deck in your unit you can choose your perspective as you relax in the morning coolness or enjoy a romantic sunset.
As you enter into this studio unit, you will be able to enjoy a comfortable, large, bed and a sleeper sofa. When it is time to cook and use the kitchen, you will utilize the luxurious granite countertops and tiled backsplash while eating with the use of all the appliances provided that you need. Your view in the unit will be enhanced with decorative window treatments and cheerful artwork.
The staff at the Divi Phoenix is genuinely friendly and helpful. The lobby is a refreshing, open area that channels the breeze and island aroma and sounds. It will help you to leave your stressful situations home. If you want to grill, there are 3 gas grills available on the property for patrons to use. There are 2 restaurants on the property and a number of other restaurants within walking distance. You are a moderate walk (which is a mile or less depending on where you visit) or short drive to downtown.
Now for the activities: Go down a couple of floors to a full service gym overlooking the beach that houses some of your favorite equipment and also has a free towel service and showers. This renovation is scheduled to take place in January and February of 2015. There is an activities schedule at the resort for every day that varies from water aerobics to trips to the local butterfly garden to a relaxing game of Dominoes. Since you are staying at a Divi resort, you are able to participate in the activities on any of the Divi properties. Some of these activities have been a bike ride through nature and historical areas on the island, climbing a rock wall and Bingo.
The Divi Phoenix has 3 pools. One of them is in more of a secluded area surrounded by some palm trees and residential units. There is a tranquil hot tub at that location and at times they open a bar there for drinks and cookouts. The other 2 pools are very large and great for swimming and playing. One of them is adjoining a swim up restaurant and is a few steps from another hot tub.
As a Divi guest, you also have access to all of the pools on the other Divi properties on the island. Those properties are a short 1 or 2 mile drive from the Phoenix. One of the pools at Divi Village is very big, with kid friendly depths in sections, a water slide and a swim up restaurant. If you are interested in golf, this is the perfect place to spend the day with a number of beautiful golf courses winding through the property.
The activities off of the property are endless. There are a number of fantastic restaurants, a movie theater, a bowling alley and opportunities to see the island by 4 wheelers, horses and jeeps. Shopping for souvenirs, clothing and jewelry all include many options, from the small roadside flea market type of business to the high end luxury stores in and around the mall. There is a small island where you can spend the day snorkeling, eating and relaxing in one inclusive price.
You may wish to spend your time at the resort on the beach- it's only steps away from one of the pools at the resort. This section of the beach doesn’t have too much traffic because it is at the end of the strip of resorts. It is a well kept, calm beach with grass umbrellas and hammocks. There is a place on the property where various water equipment, such as kayaks and tubes, can be rented. There is a towel service on the beach and outside showers. The activities at night vary and include karaoke, guest bands and a little sidewalk sale to liven up the night.
The churches in Aruba are hospitable and lively. You may find that you have family far away from home when you enter into some services in one of the churches on the island. You can have a firsthand experience of the promise that “Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.” You can be an active worshipper on this island and say with other believers here: “We bless you from the house of the Lord.” (Psalm 118:26)
In addition, your life with God can be taken to a new level as you witness Him through creation. When you look at the starry evening sky you can worship Him and say with the Psalmist, “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; what are human beings…that you care for them?” (Psalm 8:3-4). When you walk along the calm, bright, blue water you can be assured through a life reenactment that, "He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul." (Psalm 23:2) You may explore the dusty, rugged roads that lead to the historical gold mines, natural pools and caves. As you ride horses or jeeps and absorb the majestic, wave-beaten coastline you can take comfort that God “…leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.” (Psalm 23:3)
I have thoroughly researched the resorts in Aruba and have toured a number of them. My opinion continues to be that the Divi Phoenix is the best resort. To get a unit here on this holiday week is like a package of fireworks being opened just for you. We stayed here for 2 years before buying a unit and look forward to returning for many years to come. I have rented out the unit for multiple years and have received no complaints.
