'This place was special. All the bungalows are set in an enchanting jungle setting along a salt water lagoon, The neighborhood was rural and quiet. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There are a few excellent, low key restaurant across the street and a lovely little village with small minimart and the other usuals north along the little street. If you need a more lively night scene, just walk 300 m north along the beach. '

'Het hotel awesome maar in the middle of nowhere .. het hotel heeft een all incl formule wat met een familie echt el nodig is want er is niets in de buurt. Enkele kleine ( 2) restaurantjes die ook prijziger zijn voor de maaltijden maar goedkoper dan in het hotel . Als je van rust houd ( deze periode) zeker doen '

'Beautiful beach, comfortable bed & good shower, clean & perfect for what we needed. Food was good in the Similan restaurant & breakfast also really good. Staff were friendly & helpful. Was a 400thb taxi ride into bang Niang night market so away from the centre but quiet for us & a short transfer to the pier for the early bird Similan island tour we booked in advance. Was perfect weather at Similan but cloudy & rainy when we got back so didn’t get any time on the beach but was certainly a...

'You do not get a room you get a little house with outdoor shower. A big terrace with very comfortably lounge chairs Thai style. Surroundings are green and lush and in the lake you see fish catching insects. The only “noice” are birds singing. The beach is a 10 minute walk where the ThaiLife lunch and dinner place is. They also offer beach chairs and massage. It’s all very reasonably priced. Love the place. '

'Very nice room. Walking distance to several dining options and can easily get tours to the national park. I recommend walking down to the river early morning to watch the monkeys'

'Everything seemed broken, damaged or stained; floor, walls, currains, sink, power plugs... but the sheets and towels were clean and the airco worked so I had what I needed for just one night. Value for money was still okay; I didn't pay much and wasn’t expecting much either. The location is a perfect spot for if you want to take the boat to Surin the next day.'

'Verouderd hotel en alles schreeuwt om opknapbeurt of renovatie. Geen aanwijzingen aan de weg hoe het te vinden terwijl het op 500m van de ferry ligt. De enige aanwijzing wijst naar andere kant eiland, half uur verderop. Personeel vriendelijk maar voor hotel van deze omvang onbekwaam in Engels. Buffet erg commercieel en weinig Thailand. '
