Holiday in the rain.
In our autumn holiday we always try to go to the south of Europe in search of sun and warmth. This also happened in the autumn of 2019. Unfortunately, this time we had a week on the Cote d 'Azur with almost constantly a lot of rain, wind and low temperatures. That makes the stay even here less attractive. Fortunately the last two days were sunny and warm.
The house is fully furnished and equipped. The reviews of the property mention additional costs for bath and bed linen and for final cleaning. And although we are not used to that at Homeaway, it is correctly stated on the webpage of the house. The communication with the owner is good and fast.
The best thing about the house is the view of the old village with the castle and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. Especially on a sunny day you can enjoy it on the terrace. We have used the pool but have missed the heating. That is apparently not a superfluous luxury in the late summer.
Furthermore, the location of the house is pretty central for trips to Monace, Cannes and Nice.
