One of four apartments at Domaine de Cocagne, this is a calm, contemporary retreat for six on a green hillside with quietly luxurious interiors made of natural materials, soft tones, floor-to-ceiling glass and beds dressed in fine Egyptian linen. A designer kitchen, a separate dining area and an inviting living room open to the terrace, giving couples and families room to gather or slip away for a quiet hour.

Days here are made for slowing down. The terrace, set with lounge seating and sunbeds, looks over the residence\'s pool and the coast, an easy place to breakfast in the sun and linger over dinner as the sky turns pink. Down in the gardens, the shared pool waits for a cooling swim. Tucked into greenery yet moments from the beaches, art towns and markets of the Côte d\'Azur, it is a refined, unhurried base for a gentle Riviera holiday.

Domaine de Cocagne sits on a peaceful green hillside in Cagnes-sur-Mer, on the French Riviera between Nice and Antibes, just below the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes from where everything is within a 10 minute drive. From the old village crowned by the 14th-century Château-Musée Grimaldi, whose terrace opens onto panoramic views of the coast to Musée Renoir preserves the painter\'s final home among its olive groves, alongside cafés, art galleries and little squares made for a slow afternoon.

Down at the shore, the pebble beach of Plage des Galets and the seaside restaurants of Cros-de-Cagnes line the bay. Everyday essentials are simple too, with an Intermarché Express nearby for self-catering and Cagnes-sur-Mer railway station on the coastal line for easy, car-free days out to Nice, Cannes or the hilltop art village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
