This modern luxury apartment which has great views to Fistral Beach, Newquay Golf Course and the Headlands Hotel will keep you enthralled for hours.
A large balcony off the lounge is great for those evening drinks or lazy lunches. It is in excellent location being just 150m to the steps to one of the best surfing beach in the UK.
The busy lively Newquay centre, with its great surfing atmosphere, clubs, bars and shops is only a 15 minute walk away. The great coastal walk passes right in front of the apartment.
Newquay Golf Course is just across the road. From the lounge and balcony you will be able to watch the golfers as well as the surfers.
We welcome pets but a fee of £10 per day is required.
Reference review posted in Feb 24 - we have upgraded the wi-fi, speed, Download 108 mbps & 20.7 mbps Upload, And installed a new smart 55" TV to lounge.
Please note this apartment is one on the 2nd floor, whilst this provides great views, there is no lift access, hence may not be suitable for those mobility concerns. As the apartment is in a quiet residential area, stag & hen parties are not can cause issues, please advise your groups make up when booking. Electric vehicle? There are 3 EV charges managed by project EV in the Fristral Beach Hotel car park which is open to the public. Only a 3min drive or 10min walk from the apartment. Ask Clive for more info. Lewennick Lodge - great pub & restaurant is only 20min walk west along the coastal path. Fistral bars & shops are only 15min walk via beach or coast path. Central Newquay’s bars & shops are only a 20min walk.

What a place!

A lovely mini break right next to the sea in Newquay. Bigger apartment than anticipated and wonderful sea views all round. Very windy/rainy weather but we still had so much fun. We surfed, walked the headlands, ate out, visited the aquarium and relaxed. Thanks for a great trip in your fab flat.

This was a truly lovely property with an amazing view! The flat was clean and well-stocked with cooking implements (though could use a few basics like oil). We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return! The location was fab, if you have a car, though we didn't test the bus system. The beach is just a short walk away and getting to watch the surfers was endless entertainment. Thank you!

The apartment was a brilliant find. The penthouse was a good size, and the views of Fistral Beach from the balcony were lovely (especially at sunset). There was a small outside gated green space, which was great for the dog, and the beach was just a 5 minute walk away. Parking was helpful, and a sizeable space (we have a large car). We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Cornwall, and would recommend the apartment to anyone. Thank you!

Die Wohnung liegt einfach perfekt. Alles ist vorhanden was man benötigt. Der einzige Kritikpunkt sind die Matratzen in den Betten. Diese müssten mal ausgetauscht werden.

Fantastic view

Wonderfully clean and well appointed. Being from the states we found the shear number of switches daunting for ten minutes - easily figured it out however. Perfect time of year (last week in Sept) to be free of huge crowds.

Perfekte Wohnung an bester Lage

Unsere zwei Wochen in Cornwall waren wunderbar. Dazu beigetragen hat das sonnige Wetter, vor allem aber die helle, ruhige, gut eingerichtete und saubere Wohnung mit einem sagenhaften Blick auf den Atlantik. Wenn es irgendwie zeitlich drin lag, spazierten wir dem Meer entlang über den goldenen, blitzsauberen Sandstrand. Zum Baden war es uns - im September - etwas zu kühl und vor allem zu flach. Doch wir schauten immer gern den vielen Surfern und dem Spiel von Ebbe und Flut zu. Von der Wohnung aus erreicht man zu Fuss rasch die Stadt und die zentrale Bushaltestelle. Wir haben kein Auto, konnten aber viele anregende Ausflüge unternehmen. Auch ein Spaziergang direkt von der Wohnung aus war immer möglich, der Küsten-Wanderweg ist nahe. Unsere Gastgeber standen uns bei Bedarf schriftlich oder telefonisch zur Seite, was wir sehr schätzten.

To get any closer to the beach you need to be on it!

There are few apartments that can say without bending the truth, or your neck that they have a clear view of Fistral beach; this one does… if you surf you can be on the beach in 2 minutes, if you don’t, you can enjoy the view and watch. Clive and Sue are the epitome of good hosts, their apartment is spotless when you arrive and has a comfortable charm that some don’t bother with. The apartment block is clean and well positioned for access to both Newquay and the wider Cornwall being well served by road. Opinion is obviously personal but I don’t think you will find a better apartment for cleanliness and position if you want to be near and see the premiere surfing beach in the UK, you will be hard pushed to find hosts as considerate at Clive and Sue. Book it now before it goes…

Excellent location with good views over Fistral Beach. Apartment was clean, modern and a good size for two of us and the dog. Car space is near the front door.

The property is surprising much more spacious than the pictures show. Excellent location, 20 min walk into Newquay, wonderful views (even in the wet and windy weather we had during our stay).The property has everything you need for a self catering stay. We wouldn't recommend for families with small children as the stairs (no lift, 4 flights of stairs) would make access with a pram nearly impossible. There were a few negatives to our stay, firstly the wifi is an absolute waste of time, we used out data the whole time and the tv in the lounge is old with very poor 90s picture quality. The settee looks fantastic on the pictures and when you see it but it really isn't that comfy, especially where the sections meet. The building was quiet, heard no sound except when people went in/out of their front doors as they really do bang. The owners communication was excellent.
