Loved our stay! Nice rooms with comfy beds. Great location, close to different subway stations, Soho and lots of place to eats. Also the living room on the second floor is really nice, easy to order breakfast and grab coffee & tea

Fijn hotel en ligt centraal in Manhattan
We hadden een fijne kamer met prachtig uitzicht. Het enige minpuntje is, dat er te weinig kastruimte was.

Prettig hotel om te verblijven in NY
Fantastische locatie, diverse subway lijnen op loopafstand. Vrij nieuw gebouwd hotel. Met name de ‘corner rooms’ zijn perfect, uitzicht in 2 richtingen vanaf 9e t/m 20ste verdieping. Perfecte badkamer met bad/rainshower. Op het punt van service liep het niet vlekkeloos, maar super vriendelijk personeel en foutjes werden hersteld tot tevredenheid. Breakfast wat ingewikkeld: ‘s nachts komt een email binnen met een breakfast coupon, daarmee bestel je online, want breakfast wordt vanuit elders gebracht naar de lobby van het hotel, waar het opgehaald moet worden. Max $20 p.p., maar je denkt daarbinnen te blijven, maar dan komen tax en tips er automatisch bij en moet met een credit card het bedrag betaalt worden wat boven de $20 komt. Helaas, alleen op USA geregistreerde cards met verplichte ZIP code. Hebben wij niet als non-USA visitors. Maar ook dit werd opgelost door de frontdesk. Chinatown begint naast de deur en Little Italy is 3 blocks away!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 50 Bowery. It was easy to find and very easy to get a cab / Uber. The closest subway entrances are a 7 to 10 minute walk depending on where you're going. We felt the rooms were good size considering its NYC. They were very clean and housekeeping came every day except our last, but we didn't leave the room until around 12:30 that day so perhaps we just missed them. We were happy to get a room on the 20th floor (top) with a great view. We could hear some noise once in a while but overall it was very quiet and we had no trouble sleeping. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was quick and easy! The only cons were minimal and more of a personal preference vs an issue with the hotel: - the bed and sheets were a bit stiff but again that's just a personal preference - would've been nice to have some hooks around the room to hang things. There's a small closet with hangers but some hooks would've made things more convenient (esp for coats and bags) - the ledge in the shower is teeny tiny so not really any room for anything except the little travel size toiletries they provide. Biggest pros: - awesome staff, friendly & helpful! - decent sized room & bathroom for NYC - clean / daily housekeeeping - quiet! - good location relative to ease of getting a cab & walking distance to subway stations

Love staying at this hotel. The staff are always wonderful, especially James at the front desk. Location is great, right in the heart of Chinatown and close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. Not far from multiple subway lines.

Staff was excellent …. I booked this for the view and it stated “city view” we did NOT get a city view we got the Bowery view … we paid extra for it and the staff said they had 2 kindred suites and they were both Bowery views …thhe tried to get us a new room but the beds were sooooo small and we are a 6ft and above family … the pull out in the suite everytime you moved it was like popcorn popping and the pull out was very uncomfortable… for the price we paid the view and comfort were very important and fell short …. The hotel room was very nice and we did have alot of room … very clean too …. But again we paid for a city view and did not get it …..I will be in touch with Hyatt regarding this …. Not the staffs fault they were great !!!

Overall, this was a nice hotel for our stay in NYC. The biggest issue I have is the “Manhattan Bridge” view we booked and paid extra. The view we got was just of the entrance ramp to the bridge and not the bridge itself, so definitely misleading. Our room probably did have a view of the actual bridge back before 1975 when the large building blocking the view was built.

Always love staying here. Only con thing is that they charge a destination fee like any hotel but I never utilize it since I’m a New York native. There should just be an opt out option

Hotel and staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again if ever in New York again! Roof top bar has an amazing view and great drinks but management there was awful and unpleasant. I would recommend going up there for one drink to see the view of the city and then leaving because they do not treat customers well.

My second time staying at this hotel. Consistently great. Walking distance to LES, Chinatown, Little Italy, Bowery, etc. Cute and stylish. Rooms are larger than your typical NY hotel.
