'Located on the beach with direct beach access from the pool area. Great view from balcony. Staff is very friendly. Balcony door would not close, but someone came to fix this within minutes.'

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the property was absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins swim in the intracoastal. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping on Canal St.& Flagler Ave.; the beach is just a few minutes drive; and there are some beautiful sights to see in the local area. We will be back!'

'I have stayed at several Hotels in and around the Daytona Beach area, and I would have to say that this Hotel is buy far the Cleanest, most well kept Hotel I have been to. The Staff are the greatest Hotel Workers, and are always RIGHT THERE to help you with whatever you may need help with. I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ANYONE VACATIONING IN THE DAYTONA BEACH AREA !!!'

'We had a short, but great stay at the Inn on the Avenue. The check-in was easy, location is great, and the host were super friendly. Unfortunately we had to leave very early in the AM, so we missed breakfast. However, we plan to return when we have a bit more time.'
