Amazing place to stay in New Orleans-- close to everything, but far away enough to be quiet and cozy! The house was gorgeous and historic, with beautiful art, home decor, and extremely comfortable beds and couches. We felt right at home. The hosts are very communicative! The property delivered as promised and we enjoyed lounging around during our downtime. Our host’s restaurant recommendations were fantastic and she was friendly and accommodating. We arrived on a Thursday and Karen was prepared for us with coffee and creamer so the morning could start perfectly. We did the WW II museum and that is fascinating and should be on everyone’s list to see. It will take 2 days to see it all. The convenience of the property location to everything, Bourbon St, Jackson Square and tons of good restaurants was a big bonus. We would definitely stay again. The gated parking felt so good knowing our car was in a safe place and out of harms way.

Amazing historic Garden District house kept meticulously clean. Apartment was large and very comfortable. Host lives onsite and was helpful, friendly, and responsive. Home is 2 blocks from the St. Charles streetcar station and 2 blocks from the Magazine Street commercial district. We had a delightful stay and cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Aside from the amazing location, which made walking around NOLA even in summer heat a breeze… the accommodations were roomy, clean, and relaxing. We only used the full kitchen for coffee, but it was well outfitted. And most important the AC was effective!

We had a lovely stay for a family vacation. The location is excellent and the off street gated parking was perfect. It was nice to have room to spread out and it was a very quiet and safe place to relax. I would just be aware that the unit is upstairs in case there is anyone in your party who can't climb. Also the bedroom curtains were rather sheer so lots of natural light comes in - lovely but also woke up my 9 yo pretty early!

Worst VRBO Experience-Incorrect Listing

This was listed as "The Entire House". This is a "Triplex" location with owner on the ground floor and 2 duplex units above. All balconies and parking are shared space. Balcony doors (front & back) are busted and are held shut by 2 x 4's and brackets. Some light switches do not function and are broken. Furniture in need of replacement. No access to garden patio, grill, or hot tub (gated off). A lot of phone calls, text messages from owner about things needed for the other unit including parking.This place needs a lot of TLC and updates. Will never book this location ever again. Worst VRBO Experience!!

Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. Amazing location. Quiet street but two blocks from St Charles in one direction and two blocks from Magazine St in the opposite direction. Both with lots of shops and restaurants. The house is cozy with cool eclectic art. The AC works great. The best part is the host. Karen is extremely accommodating and gave us so many great recommendations on restaurants and activities. One of the best host's I've experienced. Can't recommend the property enough.

Great NOLA home in a great location

My group of 5 friends stayed here to celebrate our 40th birthdays. Karen was so kind to meet us when we checked in to acquaint us with the house and the area. There was plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood was quiet, and having dedicated gated parking was a huge plus. It was an easy walk or a short drive to lots of great restaurants and sightseeing. We would stay here again!

Family football weekend

This property was as advertised. Easy access and a perfect location for our needs. We came for a Saints game and the WWll museum. The beds, baths,kitchen were all excellent and the location was very safe. Karen was easily accessible and checking in was a breeze. We definitely enjoyed our 3 night stay and would do it again.
