Lodges in New Hope

'We stayed for one night. The room was clean and very large. There was something off about it, Somehow the housekeeping crew dropped the ball. We didn't have towels, nor pen and paper in the room. The bed was poorly made. Once we brought the issues to the attention of the management, all issues were quickly resolved. They were also kind enough to give us breakfast vouchers. That being said... the bed was comfy, the shower was warm and strong, the towels were soft. I would stay there...

'We have always wanted to go to the Black Bass Hotel for years and it didnt disappoint! We checked in and walked over the bridge to Bulls Island, then came back to a riverview room and balcony and enjoyed a glass of wine. We ate dinner in the Tavern and it was excellent. A really interesting old building with history.'

Mulch outside the front doors with no plants? What’s so great about that? The check in process was simple. I was given a key in exchange for a credit card which was for incidentals.
