We thoroughly enjoyed the property and proximity to the beach. Also, this is the first location in 5 years that we did not encounter air conditioning/cooling issues. We plan to stay again next year.
The property was very nice and spacious for 9 of us. Great location to the beach. Communication was difficult at first as I didn't receive my portal information but after that was fine. Biggest complaint was not enough bath towels for everyone.
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
The company which handles the listing is unresponsive and is unreachable.I was told the reason was because they were 'shorthanded'.The listing showed grill as an amenity. As a large group coming from out of state we rely on having a grill for meal planning. There was no grill. Host was unapologetic, did not own it and basically said deal with it. House is nice and spacious. Great location, second row from the sound. You have to go through public beach access path to get to the sound but itâs a very short walk. House could have been cleaned more thoroughly as several rooms had items under the beds and night stands. The neighbors are serious about no trespassing on your way to the beach or stepping foot on their driveway, threatened to call the police for our kids doing that. There is no access to the garage which was noted in the listing. There are no beach things available for use like beach chairs, toys, paddle boards etc. several large windows really needed black out curtains or shutters, it was so bright in the master bedroom and in the loft. No large pot or pan to cook a large meal. Beach access is across the main road and is walkable but if you are toting a ton of beach gear and children can be unpleasant. We did not see public parking closer to the beach.
