The Space:

The suite is on the first floor of a stone and timber complex on the village hillside, and its interior is built for mountain evenings. Radiator heating keeps everything warm when snow settles outside, a TV is on hand for slow nights in. Up to four guests sleep comfortably, with a double bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the living area.The bathroom comes with a walk in shower, and fresh linens, towels, a hairdryer and all the everyday essentials are provided, with extra pillows and blankets available upon request as part of the attentive service. WiFi is available throughout, and free parking on site means the car is always steps away. An ideal destination for year-round vacations, perfect for families, friends, and couples.

The Neighborhood:

Agios Pavlos, known to older generations as Koutsoufliani, is one of the highest inhabited villages in Greece, set at 1,250 metres on the slopes of Mount Vermio within the municipality of Naoussa. Dense beech forest wraps around the settlement, the air is noticeably fresher than on the plain below, and the atmosphere suits guests who want genuine mountain quiet with a lively town within easy reach. Naoussa itself lies about 17 km away and covers every everyday need, with well stocked supermarkets, bakeries and pharmacies alongside a long tradition of tavernas and cafes.



Nature is the main event here. The Tria Pente Pigadia ski centre, one of the oldest in the country, is about 6 km from the village, with runs between 1,430 and 2,005 metres and views from the top that stretch to Mount Olympus and Lake Vegoritida. Forest paths lead straight out of the village into the beech woods, the wider Vermio range offers marked hiking and mountain biking routes for every level, and about 14 km away the grove of Agios Nikolaos spreads beneath century old plane trees at the springs of the Arapitsa river, a favourite spot for riverside walks and long lunches.



History runs deep in this corner of Macedonia. The School of Aristotle at ancient Mieza, where the philosopher taught the young Alexander the Great, is about 20 km away, close to the painted Macedonian Tombs of Lefkadia at a similar distance. Naoussa town, 17 km away, rewards a stroll with its stone mansions and wine cellars, and the royal tombs of Vergina, a UNESCO World Heritage site around 40 km from the property, rank among the great archaeological discoveries of Greece.



Guests fill their days with skiing and snowboarding in winter, forest hikes and cycling in the warmer months, and unhurried meals of local specialities in every season. Naoussa is the home of the Xinomavro grape, and its wineries and vineyard landscapes are a destination in their own right. Getting Around:

Thessaloniki Makedonia Airport is the nearest international gateway, about 100 km from the property, with a scenic drive that climbs from the Macedonian plain into the Vermio forests. A car lets you make the most of the region, putting the ski centre, the wineries of Naoussa and the archaeological treasures of Vergina and Mieza all within easy reach, and free parking on site means it always has a place waiting when you return.
