Hotels met restaurant in Nantucket Island

'If you’re going to Nantucket and looking for a conveniently located place to stay, you won’t find anything better than the Jared Coffin House. When we arrived at the ferry, I called the hotel and they sent their courtesy vehicle down to pick up all of our items and we were able to walk around town until our hotel room was ready. For the rest of the trip it was so nice to have a place close by to go in the middle of the day to use the restroom before we continue doing whatever we needed to do....

'There are too many negatives to comment on but here are a few. The fact that this hotel was rated 9.2 on Expedia is an absolute joke. On top of the poor quality, the room was more expensive than any hotel I have ever stayed in whether it was the Four Seasons in Maui or the Mandarin Oriental in London or San Francisco. Some examples: - The hotel is nowhere near the beach or town. Make sure you understand that. - The pool was empty. - The showers near the pool (for cleaning up after the beach)...

'Het hotel is nieuw en ziet er aan de buitenzijde mooi uit. Echter bij de ontwikkeling van het hotel is er totaal niet gedacht aan geluidsisolatie. Je hoort je zij- onder- en bovenburen, de airco zowel binnen als de units buiten, het geluid van het restaurant en allerlij andere vage herrie van machines in het pand. Ook zijn de harde houten vloeren gehorig. Het eiland is supermooi en delicate van het hotel ook, maar er zijn in de buurt veel betere alternatieven '

'5 star treatment'

'They didn't have the room available at check-in; staff seemed a bit disheveled. Bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly due to rushing it looked like. They could have cleaned the seaweed on the beach at the resort; it was all over the beach and in the shoreline water.'

'Only planned to stay one day but all ferrys were canceled so we went back for another night. It was a great pleasure. More than cozy and comfortable. I would return'

'I would expect there to be more frequent transport available to take guests between town and hotel. Only one an hour is not enough. I would expect coffee in the room and not have to go to lobby. The staff did not help much when it looked like a storm might strand us at the hotel, I had to do all the investigating - fortunately we were able to get a ferry. It’s not a hotel for anyone wanting to be anywhere than in their room. And in the bad weather we had on our stay it felt empty and lifeless...

'The stay was overpriced. The fact we could hear the toilet flushing from upstairs for the price was a bit silly. Don’t stay in 921. The room was nice but I did find as I was plugging in my phone to charge trash behind the nightstand. Cleaning could be improved. Would I stay again. NO!'
