« This is probably the best hotel for the money I have ever seen. It was really a spectacular place. It compares well with such great values as The Salisbury Hotel in Hong Kong. The staff was remarkably well trained. The were fluent in English and very attentive. The room itself was huge, looked brand new and was extremely well decorated. The breakfast buffet was excellent, served in a pretty restaurant that was quiet and friendly. This has to be seen to be believed. I will never consider any...

« Staff are very friendly and helpful, but hardly anybody speeks another language than Chinese. The location is convenient, but the city of Nanjing is as anonymous as other Chinese cities, if it wasn't for the city wall.. »

« Overall was excellent. Conciege staff and manager were helpful and kind. Had some little problem with the sofa, and the hotel was so kind to offer a change of room for us. We didnt take up the offer as our friends were just staying the room beside us. Excellent service. Morning breakfast can be better improve. Will definitely stay here again if back to Nanjing. »

« Nice comfortable clean hotel near Xuanwu subway. But aircon broke down on third day and we had to shift to another room. Hotel counter staff do not appear familiar with basic tourist information and could be better equipped with local knowledge of tourist attractions, transport to other places outside Nanjing, where to locate certain landmarks etc... »

« L’hôtel possède une entrée latérale sur la rue. Cela la rend difficile à trouver pour une première visite. La réception, au 4ième étage, est peu commode. Cette hôtel a été classé 5 étoiles. Elle en vaut 4 pas plus. L'hôtel est fréquenté par de nombreux chinois, alors le déjeuner est en conséquence, diversifié et tout à fait correct. Il y a un grande centre d'achat tout proche, pour ceux qui aime cela mais ce n'est pas mon cas. »

« I enjoyed my stay. My room was nice, spacious, clean, and had a good view.The breakfast was nice and had a mix of Western and Eastern cuisine. The only downside is that it isn’t close to a metro station for public transportation. »

« Le club des chambres executives est de bonne qualité, mais le personnel parlant peu anglais nous a mal renseigné et à tenté de nous facturer un nettoyage de vêtements qui nous avait été présenté comme offert. Cet incident à été traité par le personnel avec beaucoup d'insitence voire de malhonnêteté, la personne faisant semblant de ne pas comprendre le problème pendant de longues minutes, ce comportement a suffit à gâcher le sentiment global du séjour. »

« Staff helpful when complained about my earlier room that is stained with tobacco smell. People spat into plants in hotel lobby and smoked in elevators but this is my persistent complaint about China in general. Quite a lot of mainland Chinese don't seem to be able to understand the basic hygiene and health implications with such behaviours. »
