'We only stayed at the property for one night as a stopover between tours. The place is nice and very conveniently located within walkable distance to the few sights there are to see in Windhoek, and some restaurants and coffee shops. I got e-mails with two different unit numbers so there was some confusion at the check-in which one was the correct one. Also, the electric meter was not "filled up" so the security person had to contact the property manager to do that in order for us not to run out...

'We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Barend's property. It was clean, spacious and well furnished. The beds and couch were very comfortable. We especially appreciated how well the air conditioning worked since we rarely experienced that at the other lodges around Namibia. The guard to The Village was helpful too. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.'

'What surprised us most about this flat was its size. There was plenty of space for two people to get lost in. Plus a lock up garage. It is tastefully decorated and in excellent condition. There are views directly across to the beach and ocean. The only con was that the shower drained poorly, resulting in overflow starting to run down the hall - this was probably the result of a blocked drain and hopefully management (whom we informed) promptly rectified the issue.'

'The Apartment is amazing, and must be one of the best on the beachfront. Easy walking distance to the Beach, to the Tug and Jetty Restaurants and to good bars. 'This is two large apartments (one on the top level, one on the bottom) - we stayed in the top floor. The apartment is very spacious - large kitchen, dining room, living room, terrace - and two bedrooms, each with several beds in case you have a large group (the bunk beds would be great for kids). The view of the harbor is nice, and the kitchen helps one self-cater. It's on the edge of downtown Luderitz, which is also nice, as it's quiet, yet just a few minutes walk from the central part of...

'Property was as advertised; safe, serene, and stylish. Great choice for a cozy stay right on the beach.'

'Sehr gute Lage direkt am Meer in Randbezirk/Vorort von Swakopmund nahe Einkaufszentrum. Ansprechend eingerichtete Zimmer mit schönen geräumigen Bädern. Insgesamt geräumige Unterkunft mit Möglichkeit, das Auto in Garage unterzustellen. Meerblick aus zwei der drei Schlafzimmer. Bequeme Betten. Direkter Zugang zum Meer. Leider Missverständnis bei Instruktion der Alarmanlage. Wurde daher eingangs aus Versehen ausgelöst. Zusatzschlösser an Schiebetüren nach draußen funktionierten nicht. War aber...

'Over price and over rated'

'I did the booking and when I got there the were no apartment available for me because the owner who does not have an apartment there any more. Talking to the security his informed that that guy does that all the time and when people get there he negotiate and get them to another place making an impression that he his helping.
