What better way to start the day than by watching the sunrise from Ocean's Edge oceanfront decks or top floor oceanfront living area. After enjoying your coffee, perhaps a stroll over the dune walk to the beach to search for seashells or sea glass, or just enjoy the sound of the waves.

If you feel the need to stay connected watch the morning news on the flat-screen TV in the living room or rec room.If you need to log on to your laptop to let everyone know what a great time you are having at Ocean's Edge, we offer free WiFi.

You are just a short ride away from many activities, Jennette's Pier our newest pier, Jockey's Ridge State Park, Wright Brothers Memorial, historic downtown Manteo, or the North Carolina Aquarium in Manteo. Enjoy some of our favorite restaurants, Sam & Omies for breakfast or lunch, Owens for dinner, Basnights Lone Cedar Cafe, Tale of the Whale or Sugar Creek Seafood Restaurant all on the Causeway to Manteo, Lucky 12 for lunch and dinner. After dinner, you can head to Dairy Queen or Fatboyz for some delicious ice cream.

After you have enjoyed the day, have dinner in the oceanfront dining room and watch the ocean colors change as the sun sets in the west. Gather up the family for a game of pool in our first floor Recreation Room, or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV.

Ocean's Edge is a 7 bedroom, centrally located at MP 16 oceanfront home, ideal for small family reunions or special gatherings.

Pets allowed - dogs only. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Extended Family Holiday Gathering

Even though we stayed in December, the distance from the house to the beach was so close. The views from the decks were beautiful. The great thing about this house was all the bedrooms and bathrooms to fit our group of 18. The ice maker was a plus! This house would be perfect in the summer to enjoy the beach and the pool.

Great house for families, but pool is small

House has a great location with nice beach acess. Indoors is spacious. Property mgmt was responsive when we reported 2 broken chairs on arrival. Main suggestions for upgrades: the miniature camping grill (?!!) and a cramped and overgrown pool deck.

Fantastic!

We came in from the UK, PA, SD and Va! We had an amazing time! Oceans Edge was fantastic - easy access to anything and everything we wanted to do! We will be back!

Directly on the beach and lots to do!

The house met all of our needs, some updated USB plugs or clocks with usb ports would be nice. The driveway is tricky for motorcycles but doable. The hot tub and pool are wonderful but make sure you put all your food away at night and clean up the counters. We noticed a couple of unwanted bug visitors but it was isolated to the kitchen area. Overall great place to stay and wouldn’t stop us from coming back again.

The property was great. Like all rentals it has wear and tear and missing pieces but overall it was great. We did face a tropical storm the last three days but we weathered through!! Overall we had a fantastic time!!!!!

Hurricane Dorian stay away!

House seemed clean and comfortable , and we were barely settled in before mandatory evacuation order was announced and we left for Elizabeth City. We we’re not allowed back for 5 nights , and by then had to return home to New Jersey.

Plenty of room

This was in a good location, ocean front. Not a great beach area because the waves break so close to shore but there is a sandy area in front of the house and out from the pool. The pool was not heated, and one day I got 6 crabs out of it and the other days more like 2 were removed. The biggest issue with this home was lack of parking. Very tight for two vehicles and the parking as you come into the driveway was overtaken by the neighbor who we counted had 11 cars, 2 at the house and the other nine on their extra space and ours.

Never Again

This was a terrible vacation. Some had to do with the weather but some with the house. We did not know going in that this 3 story house had the kitchen and living area was on the 3rd floor. We never would have rented it had we known that. My husband and I are in our 60's and I have had both knees replaced as well as both hips. We also had several added fees from the realty company Administrative fees and cleaning fees. We had expected to be able to swim in the heated pool, another fee. The advertised ice maker had some black stuff growing inside so we had to buy ice anyhow. Will never rent this house again and I will never use VRBO again. Be honest with people so they can make good decisions. The realty company Village Realty in Nags Head was not help[ful and there employees were not very pleasant.
