The Villa is located just 200 metres from the centre of Perama town, where you will find big super markets, pharmacies, banks, taverns and bars. The sandy beach and picturesque village of Panormo, classified as one of the most beautiful seaside villages in Rethymno, are only a short 7 Kms drive away (5 min). Also, many more delightful villages to discover exist nearby.


External Living | Private Pool & Outdoor Unique Features
Featuring an exceptional outdoor area, with comfy sun beds that are there to welcome you by the unique private shaped pool. In the outdoor space you may take a dip in the lovely private swimming pool (1.55 meters deep), lounge by making use of the high quality sun beds and umbrellas provided. On the tiled-covered terrace you can use the BBQ facilities and outdoor sitting and dining area, to cook a delicious meal and enjoy it under the tree’s shade with your friends and family! At the same time, you’ll love the countryside views and fresh air and blue sky, relaxing and making the most out of your summer holiday! Doors from the living room and one of the ground floor bedrooms offer direct access to the pool terrace. Our guests can relax under the warmth of the Greek sun and enjoy playing table tennis. For your convenience there is also a private parking at the property.

The Villa main entrance opens to a large open-plan living room area, featuring a dining table and an open fireplace, rustically and tastefully decorated, according to the traditional style. The lounge is leading to the modern, fully equipped kitchen, where an extra dining area exists. The kitchen is very spacious, ideal for preparing your homemade delicacies. On the ground floor, guests will also find two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has three single beds, while the other one has two single beds and a couch. The lounge features a panoramic window with gorgeous sea views which leads to the terrace. Each of these bedrooms have wooden stairs leading upstairs, to a loft-type master bedroom, featuring a double bed. The first floor bedrooms are very sunny and bright, allowing you to enjoy the view even from your bed. Furthermore, they have access to a large veranda, equipped with a shaded pergola with patio furniture and offering with excellent views of the surrounding area. The villa features also two spacious bathrooms. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 9 guests.

Villa Kalypso is located just 200 metres from the centre of Perama town which is within 5 minutes walking distance to everything that you might need like shops, bakery, grocery store, butcher’s, taverns, cafes, supermarkets, ATM machines, pharmacies, gas stations and post office.

Also Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, 10 minutes away by car and well-know for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds, umbrellas. Water sports are also available.Even further to the east, there is a small cove with a pebbly beach, ideal for seclusion and snorkelling.The village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop, bakery (hot, fresh bread every morning from 9 am), various gift shops and traditional seaside shops at very reasonable prices. Further, there is a good selection of cafes and excellent traditional tavernas, overlooking the harbour and the sea, which offer a warm welcome and a beautiful setting to enjoy some traditional Cretan food, fish as well as international dishes. Panormo has regular bus itineraries every 30 minutes that connects Heraklion and Chania cities.

Throughout the area the visitor is invited to walk in a region of particular natural beauty, to admire important monuments and to experience the customary local hospitality.
