'Fantastic stay! We had a beautiful room (junior suite which I highly recommend since it’s just a little bit more money over a standard room. Breakfast was great! Very much to choose from and everything was fresh. Egg station could make you any egg you wanted. Pool is on of the biggest in Rio. Enough loungers aswell. Very kind staff. Nothing is too much! Be aware that the neighbourhood is not the cleanest or most touristic one. But it is safe. You can take a taxi/ Uber to any place very easily....

'The hotel room was great. The reception staff was also very helpful & shockingly, she spoke perfect English. The rest of the country either refuses to speak English or cant. Whilst the hotel service was great, the neighbourhood is extremely sketchy. I didnt feel safe and would not venture out alone in broad daylight beyond the front porch of the hotel. The only reason to book this hotel is its close proximity to the Sambadrome. '

'Hotel is just renovated. All rooms are new, friendly staff, good pool, breakfast ok. Of course for the cheap price you can not expect 4 star things for a 3 star hotel. Area is safe, although it is advisable to leave valuable things behind. I did not use the safe but it is possible. It is close to all the bars and restaurants of vibrant LApa.
