'Hotel Meritel is een fantastisch hotel, op alle vlakken. Het is goed gelegen in de oude stad, het personeel is next level professioneel, vriendelijk en altijd klaar om te helpen. Een speciale vermelding voor Anh van de receptie, wie er er voor zorgde dat je we ons ontzettend welkom voelden.
Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en lekker, met zowel Westerse als Aziatische opties.
Wanneer we opnieuw naar Hanoi gaan, gaan we zonder twijfel opnieuw hier logeren .'

'Disappointing, not terrible but definitely worth the high price (1,000 000 vdn/ £30).
Pros: Nice bed, pretty clean room, includes breakfast.
Cons:
-Room had no natural light at all, making it feel dingy and depressing. There was some kind of window/shutter that opened to a dark wall.
-The breakfast was in a separate hotel, or the other part of their hotel. Not ideal as I had to walk across a busy road in my flip flops to get to breakfast in their other building 50 metres away

'Great hotel. Would absolutely stay again. Friendly staff, clean facility, on a quiet street.
I booked two rooms, and both are very similar. Spacious, bright and clean.
Manager Max was great help.
I was also able to book Ha Long Bay trip directly at the hotel, so they were very helpful.
Because it's on a smaller street, you will need to wheel your luggage to the hotel, not very far.
Finally.... as of Jan 2026, Google Map has not updated the street view for Eli Rina, so you won't see it...

'Amazing place to stay. Within walking distance to the old town, a lot of food and shopping street nearby. The two bedroom arrangement was perfect for my family of 6. The rooftop common area was a nice touch if you would feel crowded in the room, but the overall space felt very homey. You can also refill your own water bottle. 'Wir haben vier Nächte in den Bi Eco Suites verbracht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und entsprach den veröffentlichten Fotos. Die zentrale Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe der Train Street war für unseren Aufenthalt ideal. Das Personal war freundlich, und auf Anfragen wurde zügig reagiert. Täglich neue Handtücher zu erhalten war zwar nicht unbedingt nötig, dennoch wird an vielen anderen Stellen sichtbar Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. 'The room was amazing and well kept , and the receptionist was very helpful. The only issues I had was find the hotel as it is hidden away past the alley way. Drivers wont be able to take you directly but will drop off at the street so expect a 3 min walk from the road to hotel. '

'The unit is lovely—comfortable bed, deep tub, rain shower, smart tv, kitchenette, balcony. I stayed here for a good while (2.5 weeks) and I had a cold for about a week of that so I spent a lot of time in the room. It was very pleasant.
The housekeeping is pretty inconsistent. Sometimes they’d take the bathroom garbage out but leave the kitchen garbage. Sometimes they’ll change towels regularly but other times, they would go like a week without doing that. But honestly it wasn’t a big deal....

'My partner and I stayed 5 nights and we found the apartment to be perfect for a trip to Hanoi. The location is perfect, easily walkable to both train street and the rest of Hanoi centre. The apartment is also sound protected by the walls of multiple governmental buildings so it is quiet at night and not affected by traffic in the mornings.
