'Parking was easy. Good breakfast menu. Hotel in centre of Louth so good for all facilities. Only downside was no food or drink in the hotel in the evening so you had to go out.'

'The hotel was in a great location for the town and plenty of free parking outside. We stayed in a standard family room 108. We stayed in the summer and the room was sweltering. You can hardly open the windows so there is no air circulating and no air conditioned. They did supply a tiny fan but it didn't really help. The bed and towels were very clean. But the overall room felt dusty and old and could do with some work. There were stains all over the walls and ceiling, the paintwork and walls...

'Old world charm with an influx of recycling. If you want a five star modern hotel type your in the wrong place. If you want a peaceful cosy comfortable place with comfortable beds and a secure garden for your well behaved dog your in the right place. Lots of interesting decorative items and up cycled furniture. Very good access to the sea front and good dog walks. Friendly neighbours. Good host.'
