'A truly exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a lovely balcony, and the staff were very friendly. Fresh towels and toiletries were attentively refilled on the second day even without us requesting. The breakfast was delicious too, there were beautiful flowers and trees in the garden behind the restaurant. Both our baby and our dog enjoyed their time there.'

'Room was large, big bathtub. One corner of the room had moisture damage, and mold, perhaps from a roof leak or condensation. Pub was cosy. Food tasty. There is nothing else to do in Sandhutton. A critter scampering, and chewing in the attic above our room kept us awake most of the night. '

'I was a walker arriving at the Nag's Head at 15.30. I was warmly received and shown to my very comfortable room. Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. '

'What amazing stay here for New Year’s Eve . It was the cutest place, the enormous gorgeous Christmas had me sold it was amazing and made it extra special all the little extras all the decorations. The hosts were so lovely , friendly welcoming and nothing was too much for them . The breakfast was amazing and a great selection. The room was very clean and cosy . I didn’t use the hot tub or swimming pool put the area looked Gorogus and lovely views . The little bar area was lovely touch too . I...

'Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay.'
