'Mutrah central location is great for the touristic activities. For the remote Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the reception was helpful in arranging a taxi. As the other review wrote, basement bar noise continued around 4 a.m. though I was on the 4th floor and the noise might have been bearable somehow. The reception seemed not familiar to the Expedia pre-payment arrangement. So, you may be better to have your Expedia booking confirmation handy. Hot shower needed more than 5 minutes to come out. 'The hotel was very noisy, the room looked like it has never seen refurbishment since the 19th century, the breakfast was not great, there was no hairdryer in the room, the shower could use some repairs, the room was smelly, the bed linen felt dirty as well, the wifi was very slow, the bill had to be paid in advance, they do not accept American Express, and the hotel was willing to arrange day trips in Muscat and Oman at rates that were well above those advertised by tour operators. Toda a equipe do hotel foi super atenciosa, ficamos muito gratos! O hotel tem uma localização ótima - próximo a mercados, restaurantes e fast foods, e ao ponto de ônibus que leva direto para o centro.
