'At check in, they kept insisting we have not paid for our room!, we had to show her our cc statement that it’s paid for. They won’t give us a room with a view, even though we were the only people staying there. We had to keep our curtains closed throughout as it was directly to an open top of the next building. At checkout, we were asked to pay for our room again! On our insistence, they let us go, as I said’ we paid for our room when we booked! Nice hotel, but the insisting that we have not...

The location is not central but we wanted a quiet street and this is what we got. Secured parking for our bikes. Best chicken pho I had in Vietnam in 3 weeks was at their breakfast. Good job!'

'Absolutely amazing views, and such a comfy room. We had an electric blanket and a heater. We opted for the room with the bath tub and it was so cozy!!! You have to bear in mind this budget luxury and not everything is perfect in terms of appearance but it was still such a love lovely hotel. It included a great breakfast, moped rental, laundry service and even excursion. I could not recommend this place more!!!!'

'Its higher up in the hills, its far enough from the busy areas so its peacefull, all you hear is the chickens. Mountains look foggy and mysterious. Its a good location to go in walks from, I saw lots of the famous terraced fields. Room was clean and nice, good service and communication from the hosts. 250k VND to go to Sapa town, but the countryside is better than the town'

'La Dao was amazing! It is such a gorgeous location and the staff worked hard to please. The only thing to be mindful of is this is NOT near the action in Sa Pa-it is about a 250-300 dong can ride away in ta van which is a long bumpy road to get to. But if you’re looking for a quiet escape it is perfect! '

'Sapaxa Spring Garden Ecolodge has been the highlight of our trip to Sapa. It truly has been an immersive experience in the beautiful and peaceful countryside.
