This property was fantastic. Well cared for and well groomed.... We would stay at this place again in a heartbeat. If we could have extended our stay we would have done so
Water views were beautiful, however, views could only be seen from the bedrooms or the outside patio. This property is listed as a "guess house" but I would venture to say it is a "basement apartment." When we arrived, the interior temperture was 64 degrees. The host was extremely helpful in trying to resolve the situation. However, the interior temperture only reached 67 degrees during our entire stay making it very uncomfortable. There were two space heaters available, however, only one space heater worked properly to provide any comfort. Minor issues were not enough bathroom towels, kitchen towels, part of a bedroom closet door was completely missing & the couch/love seat could use a little cleaning. Caution - there is a train track below the property that is very active both day and night. If you are a light sleeper this could be an issue as it was during our stay.
Nice, but good views only from bedrooms. Upstairs guests were loud, but I donât think they were really doing anything but walking around and watching TV at 1:30 amâŠ
Access stairs are not ideal, donât go here if youâve got any mobility issues.
Loved it! The views from the bedroom and garden were beautiful. Location is perfect for shopping, etc. Home was clean, comfortable and quiet. Owner was very responsive. Would absolutely stay again.
This property is NOT a guest house. It is, in fact, a basement apartment. Expect to trek down a steep driveway descending two sets of steps from the street level parking space. The lower set is a steep gravel path without a hand rail. Expect to tolerate the noise level of the upper level occupants and to be awake daily at sunrise 0500 d/t no window treatments... an unreasonable price to pay to enjoy the lovely garden view.

I really appreciated how quickly the host responded to messages, and she was really helpful. The views out of the windows are indeed incredible.
There were some tricky parts to this particular VRBO. First, the unit is part of a large house, and is under another VRBO unit. We could hear the other tenants talk, walk and laugh above us, which was complicated when we wanted to go to sleep before they did. The other tricky thing is that the entrance is around the back of the house, accessible via a lengthy gravel pathway with multiple steps made out of large beams. The side of the pathway slopes down into bushes and brambles. It made it tricky to lug our suitcases, pack n plays, and other items to and from the unit. It also made me a little wary of my young kids walking up and down. I did not see this in the listing. (Due to the pathway, this unit simply wouldnât work for anyone needing ADA accessibility.)
Because of these reasons I wouldnât recommend this unit for a family with young kids.
