Altstadt apartment in Muelheim an der Ruhr

"De Chaadebloom" - in the old Mülheim dialect Mölmsch Platt "Die Gartenblume" - is a cozy holiday apartment for vacationers in the Ruhr area, business and cultural travelers and visitors to the surrounding trade fairs and events.

Our house is from 1895 and is located directly in the small but pretty old town on the edge of the city center of Mülheim.

The apartment enchants with its refurbished wooden floors and door frames, new baseboards in old style and light switches made of black bakelite as in grandma's time. The ceiling height typical of old buildings gives a lot of air to breathe and if that is not enough, there is a large south terrace directly behind the house with a view of our garden.
In the immediate vicinity of our house there are some nice restaurants, on summer days you can dine outside. Not far is the open-air stage with its park and beer garden, where many nice concerts are held. The Ruhr, with its walking and relaxing opportunities, is also within walking distance.

The apartment is completely new, the bathroom was completely renovated in 2017!

In the bedroom you will find:
- Two solid wood beds, each with 2x1m, can also be used as a double bed
- A spacious wardrobe with laundry bag for used items
- 32 “FullHD Smart TV including DVB-T2 and Netflix and all internet media libraries.

In the living room there are:
- A small office workspace with shelves and printer
- A cozy couch corner with a table
- A solid wood dining room table with chairs
- Always to browse the bookshelf

The kitchen is:
- Fully equipped with all cooking utensils
- There's a dishwasher
- An oven, cooker with extractor hood
- A coffee machine with grinder / timer (wake up with fresh coffee!)
- A spacious retro fridge with freezer

The bathroom has:
- A nice big niche shower with rain shower
- A black terrazzo sink
- A hair dryer, of course
