'Dit hotelletje lig in de bergen. Als je uit de kloof omhoog komt, kun je aan het einde van de Fygu kloof opgehaald worden. De volgende dag wordt je bij Samaria afgezet. Eten prima, slapen lekker fris.'

'Excellent location and very nice hotel! Breakfast superbly prepared for each guest, instead of a buffet. Amazing rooftop views and you even see snow capped mountains nearby. Only drawback is parking and scented hallways and carpets. Yet, valet parking was free. Heated pool and sauna are a luxurious touch. Staff is very accommodating, cheerful and always happy to help! 'I keep returning to this hotel as location is great, bus service great and warm and friendly staff. The rooms are large and well equiped. You can walk straight onto rhe beach and transport to Chania or Kolmbari is excellent. You can walk along the beach for miles. Very relaxing location. Easy to get to the airport. What is not to like? 'The welcoming feeling goes beyond the arrival. It is all way till the end, when the team thank you and says "hope see you again" - priceless. The whole team, from receptionist and cleaners to management, they are very friendly and helpful. They offer toiletry produced locally. It was so go that we found the brand shop and bought some to take home. They offer all the best. The whole room/ bathroom very clean. I strongly recommend this hotel for all it has to offer. Coronaregels werden goed gehanteerd. Loopafstand naar diverse winkels, bezienswaardigheden, eetgelegenheid in de normale (niet Corona tijd) situatie.'

'Yes, the menu offered a variety of fresh plates every day, along with tea and choices of coffee. We are travellers from Canada and we were made very welcome. Surrounding the area there are many cafes offering a large variety of lunch and dinner menus and the area is very pleasant to walk. The room we had was very spacious , the bed very comfortable and the bathroom offered an excellent shower with lots of hot water'
