Just a couple of blocks away are a handful of convenience stores and grocery stores along with restaurants, Yamato Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar, Basil, Opal Restaurant & Bar, and Crave Kitchen and Cocktails. If you visit downtown Charleston, make sure to visit The Battery, a must-visit that was formerly the heart and soul of the city’s maritime activity, and now is a wonderful promenade that is perfect for strolls to see beautiful homes and Southern-style mansions.
