Thank you for leaving us a review about your recent stay. As you mentioned, we are a small resort located in a remote area on Mt. Hood in the middle of the beautiful Mt. Hood National Forrest. However, that is usually what guests love about our resort! Because of our unique location, we are able to offer a central "home-base" for guests who are looking to explore this wonderful natural area. At the same time, we are only 15 minutes away from Parkdale or 30 minutes away from Hood River. Our Crooked Tree Tavern and Grill is located onsite and is able to offer delicious meals made with organic, locally sourced and house-made ingredients. In the summer, many of our guests love to take advantage of the free, Mt. Hood Meadows scenic chair lift rides we offer when booking a stay with us. In the winter, we are the only resort on Mt. Hood to offer discounted lift tickets to Meadows when you book a stay with us. While we list more information about these offers and many more on the "amenities" tab of our website, we are always happy to answer any questions before booking. Since we have different styles of lodging to choose from, the layout, occupancy limit and items stocked in each style will depend on the type of unit booked. Our cabins and condos have a full kitchen and are all stocked with utensils, dishware and more. Our hotel-style lodge rooms have all been updated with new carpet as of this last year and new LED lighting fixtures have been added around the resort. We appreciate your feedback about the activity in the lodge hallway during your stay and will be happy to pass that feedback on to our team. We would also like to recommend a cabin if you would like to give us another chance sometime in the future. The cabins stand apart from the hotel-style lodge rooms, so they tend to be more secluded and have more windows to let light in. As you mentioned, we do offer a complimentary continental breakfast basket for our guests, though we have also recently begun serving breakfast in our restaurant on Saturdays & Sundays! Because we are located in the heart of the Mount Hood National Forest Wilderness, some insects are bound to make an appearance. However, we do have regularly scheduled exterminators to guarantee that any guest disturbance is kept to a minimum. We can assure you that all of the items that you mentioned have been addressed, including repair of the AC in our Inn Building. All of our cabins are equipped with AC as well :) Please accept our deepest apologies for any shortcomings or inconveniences that you may have experienced during your visit.
