Dog Friendly Vacation House / Cabin at a Winery & Vineyard !

Come enjoy a get-away weekend in the heart of North Carolina wine country, sample some great wines, walk in the vineyards, and relax with the spectacular sunsets over the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are dog-friendly, with a great fenced-in play area! Located just off I-77 and I-74 near Mt Airy, and only 9 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway, our winery house at Round Peak Vineyards is a great stopping point even if you are just passing through! A free wine tasting for up to 8 people is included. There is also an 18 hole disc golf course on site.

Round Peak Vineyards is located in the Yadkin Valley AVA, sitting at 1300 ft. in elevation in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We currently have 11 acres of vineyards producing 12 French and Italian varietals. All of our award-winning wines are estate bottled, using only the grapes grown in our vineyard. Come taste our award-winning wines and tour our winery! Then enjoy the many activities in the surround areas, including over 30 nearby wineries.

The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay…plenty of kitchen items, linens and comfortable beds and living area…also a very nice screened in porch! You cannot beat the views of the vineyard and gorgeous sunsets too!

This cabin is everything we wanted it to be. Great location, well stocked, beautiful views, quiet yet convenient. The winery had music and delicious snacks as well as a variety of wines and beer. This was a wonderful house for 6 adults. The owner was so gracious and available to help with any questions. The server at the winery was very pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine that we had at our tasting. The mountains were beautiful in the distance. My leashed dogs loved roaming the winery grounds.

Great weekend escape

This property offered a delightful and stress-free weekend away. My sister's family and my own met up here - 7 of us, including four teen and tween girls, plus three dogs. We enjoyed a delightful sunset dinner on the porch, walked the grounds, played games (we didn't even have to break out the games we brought as there were so many good ones there), and of course enjoyed the included wine tasting. The wine is terrific, as is the beer, and the atmosphere of the winery is very pleasant. Easy jaunt into Mount Airy. Rain kept us from hiking at Stone Mountain or Pilot Mountain, but one of those were on our list to do if the weather had cooperated. Well-stocked kitchen in terms of pans and utensils. We will be back.

Beautiful Vineyard Stay

Amazing views of the winery and mountains in the distance. Loved that we were able to bring our pup and were just a few short steps away from the winery tasting room. Definitely recommend for those looking for a quaint NC peaceful getaway!!

We stayed at the home for two nights. The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and had amazing views of the mountains from the screened in porch. We didn’t have time to visit the winery, but there were quite a few cars in its parking lot, which I assume means it’s pretty good. I would highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Round Peak Winery. The "cabin" was very comfortable and well stocked for our stay. The setting at the winery is beautiful and was nice to have access to the winery / brewery for beverages. We would definitely stay there again on future visits.

Christmas getaway

Our family spent a week in the winery cabin. My dad and I have both had cancer battles this year and it was a wonderful respite from hospitals and doctors offices! The cabin was perfect for our size family. Beautiful view of the Blue Ridge mountains from the screened in back porch. Great communication with owner. We had a great time, the view from the back porch is awesome! The house was clean and fully stocked. We didn't get to visit the winery but we will come back again. One suggestion would be to add lighting for the parking/walkway to the house.

Cute and cozy

Our stay at the winery house was wonderful. It was clean, and well stocked… and speaking for myself, the master bedroom bed was so comfortable! Our family of 5 adults was perfectly happy and especially being able to stroll the grounds and stop at the winery for a glass of wine or beer and watch the sunset from their terrace or the screened in back porch. Be aware if you arrive after dark it is not well lit outside but was great once we found oyr way inside.
