« For anybody that wants peace nature stunning views simple but comfortable . This is for them . It’s well off the beaten track 5 mins from stunning Englishman’s Bay and with most needs catered for in Castara 10 mins away . Wonderful indoor/outdoor existence . The pool is a great bonus . You need a car and a little bit of an adventurous spirit and you will be well rewarded »

« We planned to stay 2 days but extended to 6: such a gorgeous location and pleasant apartment, we didn’t want to leave. Modest but very adequate furnishings, comfortable bed. Swimming and jetty to buy fresh fish close by. Owner Dale is a kind and attentive host, who did everything possible to help us. Neighbor Joanne can provide delicious meals. Highly recommended! »

« We love our stay at this villa , it’s very well equipped and set in a beautiful location surrounded by rainforest, the pool was perfect and the beaches around here are so unspoilt Jango was on hand with all enquiries and to help us with anything. Lots of wildlife around the villa , car is absolutely necessary as it is a bit remote. The village of Castara is nice and you can buy fresh fish from the fishermen around 4 pm by the beach. We will be returning. »

« When we arrived rather late in the dark Hema greeted us with 'Welcome to Paradise". Little did we know how true this was! Not only is the Castara Inn in a beautiful location, it also has a wonderful garden, pick a lemon? Or a passion fruit? Not to mention the private bay where we watched the fisherman. Inside everything is clean and with attention to detail. Watching the sun set from our balcony was marvelous! The kitchen is fully equipped and if anything is missing the staff will organize it....

« Our host was awesome. So kind and helpful. He got us fresh fish to cook and arranged transportation when our rental car fell through.He was always there for whatever we needed. We will definitely come back. The location is perfect.Close to everything. »

« The owners and staff were warm, welcoming and always willing to help. Very nice people. Loved that they had recycle bins throughout the property and separate bins in the villas for organics and other materials. The property and trails were beautiful, the flowers, plants, fish pond and ducks were nice to see. There were lots of birds to see and hear. Overall a great place and cant wait to go back. »

« The Bay view cottage has an absolutely fantastic location and privacy in the midst of beautiful tropical vegetation. It has everything you need for an independent stay. You feel absolutely safe because we were visited daily by an exceptionally lovable watchdog called Sandy. The restaurant in Englishman's Bay offers good, reasonably priced food, but is closed in the evenings. For higher standards, we recommend 'The Almond Tree' in Castara, right on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay in this...

Les points forts: la terrasse avec vue sur la mer et Speyside, l'environnement très local et sympathique, le calme, l'appartement très spacieux et disposant d'un certain confort, la climatisation, la propreté, le Wi-Fi fonctionnant parfaitement, et l'attention à l'égard des clients. « Le personnel était super et la bouffe aussi. La plage peu nettoyée durant notre séjour. Avons manqué d'eau par intermittence durant 36 heures. Les plongées étaient cependant magnifique, mais la disponibilité pour en faire laissait à désirer, un seul capitaine disponible donc à la merci de celui-ci...malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu faire de plongée de nuit pour cette raison...nous avons quand même fait 15 belles plongées durant notre séjour. »
