**Due to the wildfires in Canada, a generator (provided by us) will need to be used for power while we install new batteries that were damaged. Cosmo's crossing provides an amazing getaway tucked back in the woods where you can reconnect with nature and enjoy all the beauty and adventure northern Minnesota has to offer at this small private campground/ small farm. Mix relaxing in this cozy barn(including heat for chilly spring nights, AC for those hot days) with the adventure of many local state parks, lakes including Mille Lacs and casinos. Enjoy our popular animal tour and meet the goats as well as Zeus our mini cow. Pool on site (closed for the season on labor day). Off grid with full solar. Two heaters for keeping you cozy in the winter. One is run off of the solar, when the temps get really low or solar energy is low there is also a heater run of off diesal fuel. Composting toilet inside as well as water for cooking and hand washing but no shower. Microwave and grill with pot burner for cooking. Two loft beds as well as 2 couches that fold down into beds.

Cozy cabin in the woods with air conditioning and heating nestled back in the woods across a pond on 5 acres of country land. Our family home as well as Kings corner (our second location which is an RV across the pond from you) are also spaced out on the property but your cabin has its very own space, parking for any toys you bring and a large private yard in a beautiful wooded area across the pond with a deck, fire table and grill. Hot day? Relax in the pool located on the property (closed for the season on labor day). This cabin is off grid, full solar with a back up generator ( we provide a gas can for you to use, you provide your own gas if you need it) which has not needed to be used yet but is there just in case. Knife lake 1 mile away and Mille Lacs lake 30 minutes both great for fishing. Paddle boat free to use on pond or rent to use on another lake. Dogs are welcome with pet cleaning fee but must be on leash outside at all times due to the farm animals.

Disclaimer**You may rarely hear music from a neighbor usually on weekends. Dock is very sturdy but may feel a little wobbly to those not used to crossing such a long dock without railings, must be comfortable crossing.
