'The staff was friendly and helpful. Pam(I believe was her name) was great at the front desk. The first room we checked into(219) was dirty. Very dusty, toilet was dirty, shower was filthy, and had hair in it. Pam apologized and offered to switch our room. Go up to check 2nd room(209) and it wasn’t much better, but we settled because we wanted to be in the same hotel as our other family. My sister checked in the day before(217) and had the same issues. 'The rooms are ok but the staff is great, especially Amber, and if you get a good housekeeper that’s huge. They offer a nice breakfast but not many dairy free options so I was unable to enjoy it. No dairy free milks, yogurts, or fresh fruits if you are vegan or have a dairy allergy and that’s a bummer however they do have around the clock hot coffee which was a bonus.'

'I am not a hotel snob. I usually know what I am getting myself but this hotel was just something else. So much so that my family only stayed 1 night instead of the 2 we booked and drove back to our home. 'Very clean room and bathroom. Plenty of other families there for kids sports events, as we were. We noticed one of the comforters had a small stain after we checked in. We let the front desk know before leaving for dinner. When we returned, the comforter was changed. Overall, great stay.'

'You have whatever you need for a short weekend trip. Staff is helpful'

'The room was fine, and had a microwave and fridge. The shower was slippery, and water splashed everywhere because there was nothing separating it from the floor. The residents staying there would make most people uncomfortable. I believe several of them lived there. There was a lot of traffic in and out; people were sleeping in their cars, and working on cars in the parking lot.'

'There was not much to like about the property. Room125 was in very poor condition. Shouldn't have been available for use as it had a lot of unrepaired damage.'

'My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back.'
