'hotel ligt mooi aan het strand. kamers zijn wel groot evenals de badkamer, maar kwaliteit kan beter. restaurant is prima eten voor schappelijke prijs. ontbijtbuffet en dinerbuffet zijn prima verzorgd. de gym is nogal klein. zwembad is prima maar bedden zijn te hard en er is geen kussen op het bed. personeel is behulpzaam.'

'The hotel and staff are amazing! They were so attentive to our needs and everything was so clean. The hotel had great communication with us through the Expedia app. We able to meet at a local temple for a late hour pick up. The drive in by jeep as the hotel is on the edge of the park! I can’t wait to go again!'

'Wat een leuk en spannend hotel! Als je aan het zwembad ligt zie je de wilde buffels een paar meter verder in het water liggen, af en toe zagen we zelfs een krokodil voorbij zwemmen. Zelfs in het hotel kan je dus wilde dieren spotten. De kamers zijn zeer aangenaam en ruim. Het ontbijt was top, er was een ruime keuze van zowel de lokale als de westerse keuken. Wij zijn fan van dit hotel, zeker een aanrader !'

'This is an amazing hotel, everything is very special. Rooms are clean and spacious and with lovely views and lots of natural light. The facilities such as the pool and the spa are fantastic. 'The tents are a bit old, but OK. The camp looks super nice in the evening, the have petroleum lights everywhere and a fire. Staff always tries to help you and the food is really good. One big downside. There is a hotel next to the camp. During the safari they arranged for us we had a great guide and spotted two leopards! They play very loud music whenever they want. Our last night from 23:30 untill 05:00, so we hardly could sleep. I called the manager but he could not stop the music...'

'Absolutely beautiful property. Right on the beach with easy access. Hanuman langur monkeys were right outside the room. They were so cute! Room had poor lighting, but everything else was perfect! Hotel next door has a superb buffet- best i have ever eaten in terms of variety! Access road was bad and there was no place for our driver to stay so he had to find his own lodging.'

'Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité. Safari trés cher. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. '

'From the moment we arrived, the owners were so kind and helpful, even organising a full-day safari with an amazing guide where we spotted three leopards and so much more. The rooms were spotless, honestly the cleanest we saw in our whole month in Sri Lanka, and could easily match a high-end hotel in Europe or the US. 'First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....
