« This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

« Plenty of parking next to hotel room. In my case I could see my motorcycle from the hotel window. Large well appointed clean room with excellent en suite. Lovely views over surrounding hills. Cozy pub with real fire. Good full English breakfast and friendly staff. All good thanks and would stay again. »

« The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again. »

« Was greated by a nice young welcoming guy. He was friendly and attentive. Settled in micely in a good room, nice walk in shower. Shower couldve been a bit more powerful, but wasgood enough. The bar was nice though felt a bit chilly and there was lingering musky smell... beer was kept in good conditions and a nice cider. Food was lovely and nicely cooked. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of coffee and lots of orange juice. Would recommend this place. »
