Les Chapelles is a small hamlet set in the Charente-Maritime countryside between the historic Roman town of Saintes and the beautiful beaches of Royan.

We have a beautiful family estate with three separate properties and space for everyone. There is a 6 bedroom Main House, 3 bedroom cottage and 2 bedroom apartment, all are luxuriously appointed with all mod cons and each has its own private outdoor space for relaxing, eating and drinking with access to a further three acres of land. The estate enjoys exclusive use of a stunning indoor swimming pool.

The hamlet is close to Montpellier-de-Médillan and Meursac, villages with butchers, bakers, convenience stores, newsagents and, in Meursac, a superb restaurant. We are within easy reach of the larger towns of Cozes, Saintes and Royan with further opportunities for shopping, eating, drinking and entertainment. Slightly further afield are sophisticated La Rochelle, buzzing Bordeaux and world-famous Cognac.

Les Chapelles has the benefits of being a truly peaceful rural location but with easy access to good-sized towns and, of course, the beautiful Atlantic beaches. The Charente-Maritime is known as being the second-sunniest region in France, which is lovely, yet is still relatively undiscovered and authentically French.
